Understanding Your Subfilly Billing and Subscription

Welcome to Subfilly! We aim to make our billing clear and straightforward. This guide explains how our subscription plans, usage limits, and payment processing work, so you always know where you stand.

Our Subscription Plans

Subfilly offers several plans to fit your needs:

  • Free Plan: Get started with Subfilly’s core features. Ideal for light users or trying out the service.
  • Plus Plan: Offers increased usage limits for more frequent form-filling needs.
  • Infinite Plan: Designed for power users who require the highest usage capacity.

You can view details about each plan, including specific features and pricing, on our Pricing Page.

How Usage Works

Our paid plans (Plus and Infinite) come with usage limits. These limits are based on a maximum allowance associated with your chosen plan’s underlying model (e.g., the AI model used for processing).

  • Tracking: You can monitor your current usage within your account settings.
  • Validity: Your subscription remains active as long as your usage is below the maximum limit for the current billing period, your payment is up-to-date, and the current date is before your billing period ends.

Managing Your Subscription

You have full control over your subscription:

  • View Status: Head to the Billing section in your account settings (go to billing page). Here you’ll find your current plan (Free, Plus, or Infinite), your current billing period (start and end dates), and your current usage.
  • Upgrade/Downgrade: You can change your plan at any time via the Billing section. Changes typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Payment Methods: Manage your saved payment methods securely.

Payment Processing

We partner with Stripe, a leading payment processor, to handle all transactions securely.

  • Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on your choice). Stripe handles the renewal process. We monitor Stripe events to ensure your billing period end date is updated correctly upon successful renewal.
  • Invoices: You can access your past invoices in the Billing section of your account settings.

Handling Payment Issues

If a recurring payment fails (e.g., due to an expired card), Stripe will typically attempt the charge again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription status may become inactive. You’ll be notified and prompted to update your payment information to restore access to your paid plan features. If your subscription becomes invalid, your account will revert to the Free plan limitations.

The Free Plan Explained

Every registered Subfilly user starts on our Free plan.

  • No Payment Required: You don’t need to enter any credit card details to use the Free plan.
  • Basic Usage: The Free plan offers a limited amount of usage, allowing you to experience Subfilly’s core functionality.
  • Limitations: Unlike paid plans, the Free plan’s usage allowance does not reset periodically in the same way. Think of it as a one-time allowance per account unless otherwise specified on our pricing page.

We hope this guide clarifies how Subfilly’s billing and subscriptions work. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team!
